Bob Ledger - Near & Far
Bob has spent his working life in the commercial side of art creating graphic design for some high profile clients working to strict deadlines and meeting the demands of varied client briefs. Now at 60, Bob feels he has a bit more time to follow his own path and has produced some fantastic images which demonstrate his eye for detail and ability to tell a story.
This exhibition is the start of a new path for Bob, with images and memories taken from places that are near and far away; a collection of memories, sketches, photos and made up things of recent times and places.
Bob’s work captures the motion and movement of a moment, his images are dynamic and peaceful at the same time and they are really wonderfully detailed.
1st - 27th February at the Angles Theatre, Wisbech.
Opening reception: 6-8 pm on Sunday 1st February 2009.
