Karen Harvey
Karen Harvey graduated from Berkshire School of Art with a First Class BA(Hons) in Photography and since then has worked mainly as a freelance photographer and arts facilitator but also as a writer, curator, consultant, lecturer, mentor and residential artist. Within her photographic fine-art Karen’s main interests are memory and context. Her work has appeared in publications, such as the British Journal of Photography, The Photographer, Gomma and The Independent’s Fresh magazine, and has been exhibited across the UK and also in Germany and Israel.
Karen has worked extensively in community and educational settings. She founded Atelier East, curates the exhibitions at the Angles Theatre and leads the Young Artists programme.
