Help make a rubbish sculpture at Nene Park!
It is the Nene Park Trust’s 21st Birthday, and as part of the celebration there will be a FREE family fun weekend at Ferry Meadows Country Park in Peterborough, on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August 2009, from 10am - 4pm, with all sorts of activities going on, from water sports to country crafts, and much much more… including Limahl and Pat Sharp!
As part of the celebration, Atelier East and Peterborough Sculpture Trust have teamed up, and over the course of the weekend they will be creating an amazing sculpture out of recycled blue and green plastic items, working rubbish into something beautiful.
To play your part in this celebration, we are asking anyone who is visiting the event (or not!) to collect blue and green plastic rubbish so that we can incorporate it into our sculpture! Come and join us!
