Sculptural Celebration at Ferry Meadows 8/9 August 2009
We spent a wonderfully sunny weekend with everyone at Ferry Meadows, celebrating the 21st anniversary of Nene Park Trust and Peterborough Sculpture Trust by making a magnificent sculpture from all sorts of interesting plastic rubbish items! The sculpture, called ‘Celebration’, represents water meeting land, and people coming together to enjoy it. We worked with Peterborough Sculpture Trust and hundreds of talented and creative visitors to create ‘Celebration’. The sculpture will be displayed at Ferry Meadows, Peterborough (not Flag Fen!)
We say ‘thank you’ to everyone who attended the event, who added something to the sculpture and/or gave us blue and green plastic rubbish!
Even the little dogs thought our bush looked like a bush and came over for some shade!
