Spalding’s Tasty Red Lion Street Mural
Over one hundred Young Artists from three Spalding schools have been creating tasty artwork inspired by the foods that are grown and produced locally. We worked with Young Artists from Monkshouse , Spalding and St Norbert’s Primary School’s to paint wonderfully bright, vibrant and detailed images of fruit, vegetables and cake related items!
Every one of the Young Artist’s paintings will be brought together to create three large digital artworks which will be hung on a derelict building in Red Lion Street, South Holland District Council will be building a fabulous Food Court and offices here and eventually the artwork will find its way inside the new premises. The Food Court will give the public the opportunity to be able to view products being made- such as bread, cakes and chocolate… yum!
