Drawings & Paintings - Colin Watson & David Lewis - 1-30 Nov

A new exhibition opens at the Angles Theatre, Wisbech on 1st November.  Drawings and Paintings is a collaboration between two very talented artists.

Colin Watson and David Lewis are both professional local artists producing wonderful work.

Colin Watson’s work features a striking selection of wooded and rural landscapes.  His pictures reflect the wildness that he finds within the wonderful fenland countryside.  Colin studied at Goldsmiths School of Art in London and went on to spend many years working on community and education art projects, he is now finding time to allow his passion for painting, drawing and sculpture to re-emerge.

Not one to shy away from colour, David Lewis’s work is vibrant and eye-catching.  His subjects range from stunning landscapes to striking abstracts, all rendered in a broad mix of approaches but always with a modern edge.

1st-30th November at the Angles Theatre, Wisbech

On Sunday 1st November from 6-8pm there will be a free opening reception and as always, everyone is welcome to come along and meet the artists.
