VOTE HERE - Young Artists Exhibition - 08-26 March 2011
Our Young Artists have worked really hard to put together this fantastic exhibition of work by other Young Artists at Wisbech & Fenland Museum. The show runs from 8th - 26th March 2011 and will end with a special celebration event on the 26th from 2-4pm (with lots of yummy food and drink!) Please RSVP if you would like to come along, it will be a lovely afternoon.
Each Young Artist will be presented with a certificate, and one lucky person will receive the Young Artist’s Best in Show trophy… so, its about time you had a look at the work and voted for your favourite! We are sorry that the reproduction of the pictures below isn’t very good, but hopefully it will give you the incentive to pop into the museum and have a look at the real things!
Voting closes at 4pm on Friday 25th March2011. Votes will be counted by independent persons. Votes from the Museum and online will be combined and the winner will be announced within one month of the closing date.

The little blonde girl in the baseball cap.
I love how lifelike the piece is and how the artist has perfectly captured the little girl’s endearing facial expression. The artist is clearly talented and has produced a beautiful piece, which is why I have chosen her as my winner.

Her last image, the painting of the photograph has great emotional depth, clearly encapsulating the mood with dark but off-handedly striking colours. Fantastic.
