Fenland Scrapstore’s Grand Opening!
Despite the terrible weather we saw well over 100 people turn up to our opening event on Saturday! As soon as the doors opened people flooded in to get their hands on the best display of materials Fenland Scrapstore has stocked to date…. yes, it looked pretty good!
Youngsters let their imagination run and had loads of fun making their own bunting and pictures in the free workshop provided by Atelier East. A fantastic time was had by all, everyone was impressed by the selection of materials on offer and enjoyed gorgeous home-made cakes and the chance to chat to other people with the same arty-crafty interests.
The Scrapstore will now be open every week on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10am –12noon, and on Friday afternoons from 1pm-5pm. You can find the full opening time details on www.fenlandscrapstore.co.uk
Fenland Scrapstore has received funding by Roddens Housing Association to take on two full-time apprentices! Many of you who came to the event on Saturday will have met Liam, who is the first apprentice we have taken on. We are now looking for number 2!
