February will see the return of award winning artist, Louise Stebbing to Octavia View, and this time she’s bringing her students! The exhibition, Strokes & Styles from Skylark, will showcase some of Louise Stebbing’s latest linocuts alongside a wide variety of linocuts, watercolours, pastels and acrylics created by students attending classes at Skylark Studios in Tydd Gote.

Louise said, “The studio is now in its 19th year and classes have been going from strength to strength. The student’s work will include a wide variety of styles and techniques by total beginners and some who have been attending the classes for years.”

At Atelier East we’ve been working really hard to bring some great exhibitions to Wisbech in 2012. We’ve got some brilliant local artist’s showing, as well as high profile and up and coming acclaimed national artists, such as painter Gemma Cumming who is creating work especially for Fenland.

Strokes & Styles from Skylark will open with an evening viewing on 3^rd February from 7-9pm. The exhibition will continue until 1st March 2012.
