Atelier East exists to promote and support arts and engagement with the arts in the Fenland area.
Our Young Artists scheme runs in several schools, and aside from our popular after-school Creative Club sessions we also offer workshops during the daytime to schools, pre-schools, childrens centres, businesses and community groups.
We run regular Life Drawing sessions at the Octavia Hill Birthplace House in Wisbech and in other locations we host other arts sessions, such as Art Therapy, our expressive art workshops for adults.
We curate monthly exhibitions at the Angles Theatre in Wisbech- this is where our annual Summer Exhibition takes place with a Best in Show prize and a fabulous opening party hosted by the theatre!
We offer advice and consultancy and have a continuing development plan. We have recently worked with Vital Communities, Museums on the Move, Fens Youth Trust, Wisbech Youth Services and Wisbech South Children’s Centre, to name but a few! Please do get in touch with us to find out more!
