- YOPEY Awards - There Are Some Amazing Young People Out There!

When our Young Curators Forum was shortlisted for the YOPEY Awards we were totally delighted. Although a little disappointed not to get through to the Finals, Brandon and Abbie (pictured above) still went along to the awards evening at Ely Cathedral to show their support for the other young people.

Artist Karen Radenkova received the Best in Show Award for her oil painting Rhea (the Hackney Pearl) in the recent Atelier East Summer Exhibition at Wisbech and Fenland Museum.
Karen’s portrait received a whopping 45 out of 369 votes- thats pretty impressive isn’t it!
