- Poetry Workshop for World Wetlands Day - Feb 2nd 2013

Our lovely Fenland Poet Laureate, Elaine Ewart, will be holding a fenland-themed poetry workshop as part of a day of activities at WWT Welney, to celebrate World Wetlands Day. The workshop will be for beginners and will run from 2 - 3pm.

Atelier East’s Karen Harvey has been commissioned by WWT to create a sculpture for their reserve at Welney. Later in the year Karen will be working with community groups in the area around Welney to develop ideas and designs for the piece which will be unveiled in March 2014. More information to follow soon!

20th January WWT Welney Wetland Centre 2pm to 4.30pm (including nature walk)
26th January Wisbech and Fenland Museum 2pm to 4pm

The Young Curators Forum is asking for locals with knowledge about the town to come along and be interviewed for their ongoing history project.
