Having nominated the Young Artists who had been leading the Saturday Art Club project - Maddie, Brandon, Beth and Charlie, for the Pride in Fenland Awards, we went along to the awards evening to watch them receive their certificates and join the celebration of all the good stuff done by all the good people!

The SAC Young Artist group who meet at Wisbech and Fenland Museum, entered their designs of shoes and clothing for a competition, for the well know clothing label, Acupuncture. The Young Artists designed items of clothing with the theme ‘London’ in mind.

Over 5000 young people joined the circus atmosphere in Kingston-Upon-Thames to help create the scenery for the evening events. We spent a lovely sunny Sunday in the park creating sculptures using recycled coloured plastic materials.

Between the 16th and 21st of August, as part of their ‘Look’ Summer Camp, we worked with Girl Guides, Brownies and Rainbows in the middle of a huge cow field at Stow-cum-Quy, near Cambridge, to create this sculpture - Look Out Post.
